Food Relief NQ was founded by BM Webb’s Managing Director Brad Webb in 2002 to support under-privileged community members in North and North West Queensland. The company donated an 800m² purpose built facility on Lorna Court in Webb Drive Estate, as its operational centre, warehouse and distribution facility.
The not-for-profit organisation is supported by 20 local business sponsors and operated by 30 voluntary staff who distribute over 200,000kg of food supplies annually to 76 charities between Cairns and Mackay and out to Mt. Isa. Each Christmas the organisations distribute in excess of 3,000 hampers to families in need across this region.
